I have the 175 with a Yamaha 60hp four stroke. I am happy with the boat but if I had it to do over I would get the 180 with a 115 Yammi 4 stroke. Having said that I will tell you that I like the boat. The gas mileage is awesome, motor quiet, starts up 1st turn of the key. The reason I selected this model is it was the largest I could handle alone getting in and out of an apartment garage. I could not back it in and had to manually turn it 90 degrees and push it in. Also wanted to keep the weight down as I drive a Dodge Caravan.
So based on my requirements at the time it really was a good choice. It has a good ride and I get very little spray. But keep in mind I don't normally go out in rough weather. Speed is upper 30's alone and about 35 with another adult.
Now that I am changing to a truck I am looking at trading this for either another tin boat or a not too expensive fiberglass such as a Stratos 285.
