I am looking at trading vehicles and I am planning to get either a full sized truck or a full sized SUV. I was wondering if some of you guys that have trucks and big SUV's could post your actual gas mileage and what kind of vehicle you have?

My tundra doublecab 5.7 got 16mpg combined but I always babied it. My Titan got 14-15. I currently have a tacoma Dcab 4x4 and it gets about 19.5 or so.

You cancertainly buy full sized vehicles cheap right now but I would still give it a couple of years until the OEM's can get some mileage improvements. I would love to have a hybrid truck.

Just bought an 04 Ford Excursion 2wd V10. Truck gets 12 around town and 14 on the Highway. My 19ft G3 in tow it gets 10 on the highway or around town. It just depends on your driving habits if you take it easy it does make a difference. I actually saw 15.6 on the highway driving 60mph.

2008 Ram Quad-cab 4.7 SLT .... 19mpg HWY ... 14 city... that's without the boat. Pulling the boat averages around 14 combined, but I just make short trips (18 miles) with lots of stops.

2006 Full sized Suburban Average by the computer is 17.5.
When I have reset it while on the hwy is was high 19's untill I got on city streets.

my 95 Chevy 2500 HD 1/2 ton gets 14-15 with no boat mixed hwy and city

If you want a full size truck let me be the first to recommend a Tundra with 5.7 engine. It is the baddest gas truck on the road right now and you can buy a nice one in the low to mid 20's.
