What price of gas will keep people from fishing. I'm asking for a friend...

We are going to get gouged at the pump. I took a short trip into town today. I was gone for a little less than an hour and the price jumped 32 cents. SMH I hope those that got what they wanted in the last election are waking up.

Watched pro's fill 50 gal. at $4+ per gallon in 2007-8 on the first day of practice on Champlain. I kept fishing at $4+ per gallon.

I seen a projection on newsmax today that said $6 to $7 a gallon is a very real possibility. If that happens I'll buy paddle boat

Sticking to the speed limits, especially towing the boat gives me a couple more m.p.g. on the truck... Backing off from W.O.T. to 4500 on my Merc 60 cuts my fuel consumption in half, to 3 gal/hr. v. 6 gal/hr.

I do a lot of bank fishing so I'll just do more of that
