"Gas Thieves"

Beware-with gas prices so high, it is happening. Had 3 "punks" pull up to the back of by buddies pontoon boat last night at the dock and was able to get away with a new 6 gallon full tank of gas before we could get to them. Broad daylight(7:00pm), could not get a boat#. They were in a 16-17' bass boat, gray fiberglass with a 90 Yamaha. They had about a 3 minute head start on us headed toward the river from Camp Columbus, not sure if they went up or down river.

Some one stole my buddies brother's motor prop out of his truck last night. We need someone to be on duty (security) at these ramps and marinas at ALL TIMES!

I any of you are around Harrison Bay Marina please let us at the park know if you see anybody suspicious in the parking lots or around boats. Call the Sheriffs Departement and they will dispatch us to the scene.

I agree, but with the government like it is today, you shoot someone for stealing something of yours, breaking in to your house, etc. and your in more trouble than they are. Thats always nice to think about, especially when it happens to you. I dont see how they live with themselves.

It is so sweet and easy to reward theives.  Get yourself a junky old gas tank,  You will have to spring for a few gallons of gas though,  Sweeten up the mix real well with several cups of sugar, Set it in your boat and go have a nice day. 

  That would serve a lowlife very well downstream without a paddle.</p>

Yeah, good idea... Place a gas carton with some gas, water, sand, dirt, or mud in the mix on the back of your truck at the boat ramp, like you forgot to get it!

Even if I spent many years in Law Enforcement, I still can be naive. I kept on getting bad numbers for MPG with my pickup, but it always was when I was launching my boat about a mile and a half from the house. These kids (teenagers) always were at the ramp bumming cigarettes and getting in the way of launching and stuff. Use to get me pretty angry, I can't tell you how many times I told them I don't smoke, but I wanted to be somewhat cordial because my truck was at the ramp unguarded all the time. This year I notice they were no longer around and a guy I always seen at the ramp told me they were told to stay away but it was for everyones good. Seemed they always were at the ramp siphoning gas from vehicles for their 4 wheeler! Supposedly they got caught and were told to never be around the ramp again. That kind of explained why my mpg's were always up!

well when they come in my house i hope they are right with god cause i have a 9mm sig just waiting for them but they got me 2 years ago for about 6 grand all my fishing stuff a mig welder and a full set of craftsmen tools i hate them all they even tryed to get the troling moter off my boat they got it all most off emoAngry what i would give to know who it was emoQuestion emoMad emoProtest emoBadLanguage emoBadLanguage emoTskTsk

hehehe.....try mothballs, it will run really good for a little while, then it will pop.

Here's a good one. Years ago, my dad and some buddies of his were having trouble with things getting stolen out of their trucks while at work. One of the guys' hobbies was catching snakes. He caught up a sackful of copperheads and rattlers, put them in a highpriced shoebox, and left them in the truck. An while later, a check showed the box gone. It was amazing. No more thefts. All thiefs should be so "fortunate".

We really think that this whole "shoot them" thing needs to come to an end. CFF doesn't not and will not allow anything having to do with shooting others or performing violent acts towards others. Yes, people are cruel and there's crime everywhere, but referring to violence toward them isn't what we need to do. These types of post do not enhance the image of CFF</p>
