Screw you then emoBigsmile

I've been under a lot lately guys. Things still not looking great with work and all and I've just been stressed. Getting out of town as much as possible to sit in a tree somewhere. Leaving again Thursday for the weekend and heading back to Indiana next weekend.

We do need to get this pumped out though. I liked the tentative schedule posted in the other thread. Let's double check some other trails, get it posted, and stick to it.

Well Adam, that would require the rest getting in here and getting this thing going. Al and I are very limited on this, this year. We need the newbies to take the reigns. ;)

March 6 G'ville Hwy 117
April 10 Chick HBSP
May 1 NickaJack MCP
May 22 G'ville JCP
June 25 Chick Friday (Night) Full moon CFP
July 23 Chick Friday (Night) Full Moon CFP
Aug 14 Chick Dogfight Chick Dam
Sept 18 NickaJack Sullivans
Oct 16 Chick Classic CFP

I took some of WW’s ideas about dates and locations and tinkered just a bit. I think we could do away with the early Feb tournament. As far as I can tell, this should not interfere with any of the other posted tournament trails.

Do you think we should do 4 of 8 or 5 of 8 to qualify for the Classic? I think 4 of 8 would allow more people to qualify and possibly have a higher turnout at the Classic.

Did anyone want to mess with the payout schedule or does everyone like the way that worked last year too?

I like that personally

I say 4 out of 8 this year to qualify. The bigger the classic, the better in my opinion

**POST COUNT**

Do we want to keep the combined 150 post count rule? Or do we want to bump it up a little? We can still offer the free passes, but our whole idea behind the post count rules is to get more participation here on the forums....

March 6 Gville, at least JCP, its only 10 more miles and much better fishing

Mapquest has it a 20 mile difference between the 2 ramps. Also, in early March, it's likely that we would run into the same problem as last time at JCP. The 117 ramp would be closer for those wanting to fish Mudd, Crow, and Coon Creeks, not to mention anyone wanting to go for some smallies up river. Honestly though, either way I am fine with it.

I say with this being the second year, we should up it. Maybe 300 posts per boat? Also, with only 8 regular season tournaments, how about only 1 free pass?

Here are my thoughts, for what it's worth:

Post count 150 per boat

1 Free pass

3 tx to qualify for Classic

Same points system regardless of 3 or 5 fish tx ( it's for a trophy and bragging rights)

Adjuust payscale to reflect $300 1st place and adjust second thru whatever accordingly

Danny's schedule tweeks:

May 1 MCP OK

May 22 JCP ??? That could really suck!

Oct 16 Classic ??? If this is the same day as Tenn vs Bama, it could be an all Dawg fan classic. My opinion is the 2nd would be better.

Come on guys, weigh in...we need everyone to bring something to the table here!

One tournament on Guntersville is enough and the date is fine. Keep the 150 post count. You'll get more participation with $300.00 for first place but you'll have the big boys to compete against. We need to meet in person guys. Can it happen next week?

Not gonna pick on the schedule...However I will miss the night tournaments. I cant do 2 nights in one weekend. Guess I wont be a points threat. :)

I like the 150 post count.
I DO NOT like the 3 to qualify. 4 at a minimum but I prefer to see 5.
I agree on tweeking the pay scale

Pointer...I cant meet next week. I already may miss a CBA meeting next thursday and we are pushed to get all we can out of the shops before shut down..PLUS I have a trip to Ohio to make and the boss may send me next week.

You guys can meet...I'll just be fishing this trail for kicks and beer :)

October 16th is Tenn's off week. GA plays Vandy and Bama plays Ole Miss.

Any night next week is good with me...

CBA may be meeting there around the same time. If I make it...I'll pipe in on anything you guys discuss.
