so bought a boat that had a wrap on it, turns out the gel/clear coat is in pretty bad shape after i removed the wrap. who do you guys reccommend for this kind of work around here?

Wet sand with 600 then buff, buff, buff. A fine compound by 3M is best. May not even need to wet sand. Finish off with 3M Finese-it.

i wish, there are places where the clear is chipping and lifting off

I have seen work by Genesis. I think they are in Winchester?. I recently bought a Ranger 521 that I am restoring and needs the top cap refinished (gel cracking). I might have them look at it or, do a wrap locally. Someone told me it would probably be about 16-1,800 for multi color gel work. fyi.

Smokey Mountain, Marine Fiberglass Technologies on Facebook..... Don't use anyone close to Chesterfrost Park if you get my drift
