This has got to be the first post of the day because its just getting light as I am getting back to madtown. I was overdue for a trip to the chic so last night was the night.
When I first got out on the water there last night I couldnt help but think I saw Moe. You guys probably know him. Last name Ron. Moe Ron. Yep I think all of us know a moron or two. They are even out there at night!!
Anyhow got to fishing and things seemed mighty slow. Wasnt catching any crappie but I was catching these white bass instead. Perhaps six of them. Gave up on this spot and went to searching other locations. Picked up a fish here and a fish there but nothing to get excited about. Was about to call it a night then decided to try one more spot before getting off the water. Bingo Im now on the fish. A good school of 9's and 10's.
I caught ten fish here pretty quickly. Then the number steadily climbed to twenty. Wouldnt you know it the wind started getting up and was making it hard to hold boat position. I opted to move to another angle. I was afraid this change would affect the bite but I though Im gonna call it anyhow if I can catch 30. Well the 30 came then I wanted 35. Got 35 then I think 40 then I will go. Got to 38 crappie and things slowed down fast. Had to work hard for those last two crappie but managed to pull it off then head on in this time.
Now I need some sleep.
