Do yall think the Dawgs have a chance to win the title game thats if they beat Kentucky next week? Every since the Boise and Gamecocks they have been looking stronger and I believe they have a shot. I do want a SEC team to win a national championship, and if Georgia was to beat LSU " sorry JMAX but dont think the hogs will play a factor emoPoke" then Alabama might still get a chance but probably not if Stanford and Oklahoma State win out.Oh well, Im just glad the dawgs are winning again emoDance . I seen while watching tonights game that was 1st time Richtshad a 8 game winning streak.I know we haven't beat any elite teams but I beleve they could play with anyone.

BCS RANKINGS ARE BS! How did Georgia not leap SC with the beat down they gave Auburn which beat SC at there house. Georgia moved up more spots when they had a bye week! emoBang

As far as the BCS goes, what happens if Ok beats Ok St? That would leave Bama and LSU 1 and 2 again. As much as I want to see it I dont think theres any way they would let these two teams rematch for the NC game. Two of the teams Bama needed to lose indeed lost. Stanford lost to a great Oregon team and Boise St lost to an UNRANKED TCU team which killed their chances. If LSU wins out I dont see GA slowing them down much but who knows? Who would play them in the NC game??????????ROLLLL TIDE!!!!!!!!

someone will jump Bama or LSU. Just think back to anytime this has happened in the past. Michigan v Ohio state....

Back in 2007, UGA was ranked #4 in the BCS going into the last week of the season. #1 and #2 both lost and UGA stayed at #4 in the following poll. Everyone's excuse was that UGA wasn't even playing for their own conference championship so why should they deserve a chance to play for the National Championship. The system is broken and will never be right as long as computers are doing the rankings.

Boise getting beat took points from Georgia being they lost to them in the opener, the hogs should've lost to Vandy. So if the hogs beat LSU then Alabama will get the west. Who ever it is bring it on, I personally think Georgia has a chance, so go DAWGS!!!!!! STILL GOTTA BEAT THE WILDCATS 1st oops! Thats what I love about college football is anyone has a shot to contend or to be a spoiler, I only wish there was a better system than the BCS or BS as I would call it.

Georgia is nothing more than a minor speed bump for LSU or Alabama on the way to the National Championship game. Arkansas would beat'em too.

Maybe wishful thinking. But I think UG has a chance to upset LSU. UG's strength is stopping the run and if they can force LSU to pass they have a chance.

Oregon and WV both had lots of yards against them and I saw a lot of blown coverages in the Bama game that UG would have taken advantage of.

I just can't see LSU's Offense scoring more than 17-20 point on UG's 3-4 Defense.

It will take a little luck but it's doable.

Georgia will not win the SEC period! Book it!

O.K. thanks. I will book that with the fact that John Chavis is an incompetent defensive coordinator. emoScratch

All I can say is its college football, and if the LSU looks at it like that then they might get beat, Granthem has the defense playing with an edge. I hope we get up early on Kentucky, and resttheplayers and the same for the tech game, which to me isn't important. Either you guys are VOLS fans like my wife or BAMA fans like half my family and friends and hate it that Georgia is doing good, SO BOOK THAT! emoBigsmile </p>

I would rather see GA win than FLA any day of the week, but I dont see GA having enough for LSU, AL, or AR...sorry just my opinion......

as for spoons comment about Chavis' defense.......I guess that explains Alabama's nice 6 point showing....by the way my crappy Vols team was at least able to score a touchdown on them....and Taureen Poole none the less.lol

Beleive me I know how good Chavis is. I just think it's funny that the vol nation was ready to hang him but instead ran him off to make room for Lane's daddy. emoBang

AND yes Bama only scored 6 on the DC the vols fired and scored how many on there new DC?

Once Fulmer was fired do you think anyone would have retained the staff? Unfortunately I have no power to make AD moves at a major university nor do I have any pull there...I didn't hire Lane Kiffin...I didn't hire his father....its easy to kick a team when they are down, you should have first hand knowledge of that through the late 90s and early 2000's....it all comes full circle, no one school can stay on top forever...as for scoring on our current defense...sure that first half Alabama lit us up with our senior laden and experienced team...there is something to brag about...who hasn't lit us up in a second half this year. Thats what happens when you are young, inexperienced, and have had 5 different strengh and conditioning coaches in 4 years.
