I started at 4:30 pm, my brother started at 3 pm , he said he only had caught 1 before picking me up, I noticed that the water was way up, that could contribute to the low bite, I thought anyway, turned out that if a slough did not have grass in it , it did not have bass in it either! So went went down the banks on the main channel where grass was & caught a few keepers, then found a slough that had grass in it & the bite was getting better emoDance ! I caught 2 good keepers & lost a real good one! Set the hook & the line broke all on ribbon tale worms! water temp was 80 degrees, depth 5-10ft, time around 7:30 pm, my brother caught his on senko & ol-monster & all fish were keepers, that's what I like the most! Between us we caught 10 fish! This was near the dam!
