We put in at Chester Frost around 8 am, headed up river to 1 of our favorites no love though they were pulling water the current was just too strong I guess & water very muddy, so we went in a nearby slough & went all the way in to the very back where the water was 2 ft. deep & my brother caught 1 on a trap weighed 4 lbs, went all around it then I caught 1 in about a foot of water on a shaky head black worm, that fish was short but had a big belly I told my brother I bet it weighs 3 lbs, he said no way, so he weighed it & sure enough it weighed 3.2 lbs! So we went to another slough up river & I caught another 2 lber on the same bait in 3 foot of water! Then went to another slough near Soddy Creek & I caught another 2 lber on same bait! But that was the last 1 for me cause my brother wanted to go in Soddy creek & it's deeper water than where we had been but there was some shallower water in places & he was able to catch 3 all were keepers 2-3 lbers that made him 4 for the day & 3 for me, but if we were fishing in a tournament we would have had a good bag! My brother & me we kinda compete against each other in a friendly way, he owns the boat & he has more experience fishing for bass than I do, but I'm getting better each time we go! 7 total fish, 5 were caught on shaky head, 1 on trap & 1 on a crankbait!
