The ramp is a legitimate complaint. Seriously, if possible and there's nothing out of Sullivan's, I'd go there. But its not my call and I totally understand keeping it where its at.

Fishing CFF and another tournament there...I'm voting NO. TOO much can go wrong and we've been there done that with Catch.

I just dont know. Yes, I agree the ramp will be crazy. Yes, I agree that it will be a bit dangerous at blast off. Yes, I agree that we would be much better served at a different ramp. Having said all that, I do NOT want to change just for the simple fact that I dont want us to change our launch location for the 2nd time in 2 tournaments. It all falls back on our shoulders guys. We made the schedule and chose the ramps that we did. We should start considering things like this more often. Most of our tournaments have between 15-25 boats. Most any ramp at any lake can support that, yet we schedule MCP for our Nick tournament again, knowing it is the most used ramp on the lake. Not bashing anyone because it was a conscious group vote on the ramps. Just speaking my mind on some things we need to tweak. I realize we have to have at least one tournament out of the South end of the lake, so maybe we look at Shellmound for one next year and Sullys for the other. That covers both ends of the spectrum on Nick.

But back to the matter at hand, I will leave that in y'alls hands. I will fish it from either location. I posted last week that I thought we should keep it, and I still think we do just for the reason that I dont want these crybabies on the forum dictating our schedule. But moving it out of concern for safety is a legit reason. Whatever the decision is, it needs to be made and set in stone no later than tomorrow

Well, if I'm reading and counting correctly, that's 3 or 4 out of MCP and now they're saying another out of Shellmound! I would move to Sarindino or Sullivan's. It's not just about the crybabies trying to "make" us move, it's just going to be a mess down there! 4 or 5 Tx's on little 'ol Nick, it's going to be hard to find a place to fish, let alone everyone trying park at one or two ramps! I say let them have the mess! But, again, I'll go where ever! I vote for Sarindino 1st and Sullivan's 2nd! Most are going to fish Bennett's, Mullin's or toward the Dam. Sarindino is right in the middle, about half way between the Dam and Mullin's!

The only problem with Serodino is that there is no light at the ramp. I like the ramp, but that could be a problem.

... awfully quite. Do we have a verdict? If this was Texas Hold'em, I'd say we're all in and waiting on the river card! It's getting late. What does everyone say? Hold'em or Fold'em and move? If it's Hold'em, then we need to just say so and kill the possibility that seems to be out there.

Well...Its a tough call for sure. Somehow I feel if the general anglers that are fishing this trail, are pretty much united in the change, I say we do that.

But yet I know what your talking about Adam. Maybe just leave it be. WE DO HOWEVER need to add these tournaments to schedule next year. Adams right...we should have thought about that to begin with....we should have noted that at every ramp we were at last year.

You're right William. It will be addressed next season.

And it should be. Now I'm not saying we need to go ape-**** and hold our trail at the shittiest ramps on each lake. We just need to take into consideration that the best ramps WILL be covered up with tournaments from March-August. On Chick it's not too bad because if the CBA or Grants isn't having a tourny at Chester Frost, then it is plenty big enough to accommodate us plus another tournament. Guntersville is simply Guntersville and it will be slam packed during this time of year at every ramp. Nothing we can do about that. Everybody knows it going in. Nickajack is a small lake and all the ramps are small. If we have them at Sullys and another group shows up it will be a mess. Same with MCP obviously. Maybe we take a look at Serindino or hopefully they will get Shellmound cleaned up and usable for a big group.

And also guys, I hope my last few posts on this subject havent trampled on anyone. I am by no means trying to lay blame to any single person on this committee. I take just as much blame as the next guy.....well, except maybe Faith. He's just eat up with ******* and can't help it emoBigsmile But seriously, don't take my comments personally as they are aimed at the committee as a whole, including myself. We just need to be a bit more cautious from now on when deciding this kind of stuff. YES, there will always be things that come up and obstacles that we have to deal with from time to time. And another thing we all have to remember.....it doesn't matter if we have the best damn tournament trail that the TN river has ever seen, somebody is going to bitch about something. It's just going to happen. I just don't want to give them any reasons to do so.
