So we didn't start fishing until around 10 today because the rain was pouring so hard... Decided to cook a huge breakfast while we waited for the rain to let up. At 10:30am my dad caught a 7.5lb on a 1/2oz trap 3-4 FOW. I caught a 2.5 off the same point minutes later. We decided to fish elsewhere and give that spot a rest. We went to HBSP area where sea gulls we diving on bait and decided to throw in... Caught 7 fish in about 15 minutes. All keepers. One was 3.5lbs. Moved back up river towards the power plant and fished it hard. Caught some fish but nothing of any size. Went back to the spot where we caught the 7.5 and stayed until past dark... On my last cast (with trolling motor up) I hooked the 6lber on a trap... She smoked it too! All the other bites today were super subtle... But this one was thunderous. Unfortunately it was dark and we didn't have any headlamps on so it took my dad three tries to net the fish... Luckily he got her on the last try... He pit in work for me! Sent up a thank you to the good Lord and ended our night quite well!

Oh and both the 7.5 and 6 came from 3-4 FOW. Water temp was anywhere from 49 to 55 where we fished.

I also caught a 8.5lb Drum and a 6.5 Blue Cat.

Hey so I wrote the Admin of this forum and still haven't heard back... I'm trying to figure out how to upload pictures to this particular thread. When I try to upload a picture, it says the picture needs to be 100k or less... I mean really? That's the size picture that a flip phone from 1995 took!!! Can you guys help me out here? Is there some special place I can go on this site (or somewhere else) that will let me shrink a picture to 100k or less? I'm at a loss here... Thanks in advance!

I use photobucket.com for posting pics but I have heard picresize.com or something like that works too
