Girls and Big Cats 4-15-2006

After the bass excursion in the AM, took the Simms Girls out for some catfish this evening. We hammered a bunch, and Tiffany crossed the eyes of a monster flathead... 22 lbs.

Wow ... big nice cats. Good job by the girls!

It's amazing to me that they can catch those things and not have a lick of slim or catfish goop on their person. White tshirt .. still spic n span. If that were me ... I'd have fish gunk everywhere!!! But then I'm not the most graceful or coordinated fisher person.

Glad you all got to spend some time together.

Nice pictures Richard, I watched a guy catching Flat heads on tv this morning. He was using 5 inch plactic Sassy Shads I think, but it was November when the show was shot.

That is one nice Flathead, I bet them gals had a good time, being out with Dad

Okay, I got to ask, where was ya'll fishing and what got that big old flathead to bite? A bream. A shad? And how do them girls stay so clean while fishing? I reckon I must drool or something, heck I just looked down and I see I got something on my Sunday shirt from just writing this note about fishing?

Threadfin shad.... admittedly I did most of the bait/fish handling. I probably didn't look so good. emoCool
