We only had 12 boats show up to fish our 6th tournament of the season on Lake Guntersville this weekend. The lake was definitely fishing tough it seemed like for everyone. This was our 2 day event which counted as 2 separate point events. The total weight for both days was what determined the money winners and and overall big fish for both days was awarded the 5 extra points. We paid 2 places and paid big fish winners for both days. Thanks to all that showed up and congrats to the money winners!

The Big G is sure fishing small these days. Those weights look like a one day event about 10 years ago. :( Congrats to the winners and thanks for sharing. emoThumbsup Jmax

this will be the chick in a few years i'm afraid. i hope not.thanks for the results

Guntersville is definitely not the place I grew up fishing to say the least. And I agree on the statement that Chickamauga will end up being the same way in the future if no more restocking occurs. I don't think there will ever be anyway of regulating the pressure because that's just how much this great sport has evolved over the years. Only thing I could think to help it is maybe not have so many big tournaments every single year and as in big tournaments in mean FLW,Bassmaster, and the big bass events.

Guntersville's new name is GunnaSucksville

It has always had pressure, but from 2015 until today, it has really taken a dive. Something is wrong over there besides just fishing pressure.

Chick used to be great, I was one of the few folks from this area of Georgia that would go up there in 2007-2012 and loved it. Now it's so darn crowded I hardly ever go. Time to move on to the next yet to be discovered place.

How's Watts Barr these days? ha

watts bar is being stock now maybe in the future it will take some of the pressure of the chick. the chick is to small for all this pressure.i have caugth less bass in the past two years over there then in the past ten always fishing behind somebody its seems and if someone see's you catch one well you know.
