My partner and I had a great night this past Saturday fishing in the 8-2 Tx. Before 9 we had a three pounder come off at the boat. Moved to the next spot caught a 5-10. Few minutes late a 2-10 hit a spinnerbait. Moved to another spot and the night became fun. We were fishing a ledge with a big worm and felt that tick set the hook and the fight was on it was a 2-9. Few mins later we caught a 6-5. That was a good upgrade. Still in the same spot felt pressure set the hook and the fight was on again. This time and my personal best it was a 9-2. Fishes there awhile longer and nothing so we headed towards hbsp and fished around there until weigh in. Stop at another spot to try and caught a 3-10 had to throw it back. Sad part to this night is that I caught all the fish and my partner never caught on. But he did net all of them for me and I believe he was a big success in helping with the winning weight. Our three fish weighed 20.69 and our best five would of been 31 and some change. We won first and big fish. I want to say thank you to the guys that run the Tx on Friday and Saturday nights. They put on a good clean and fun Tx.
