We fished pretty shallow less than six feet deep all night with texas rigged soft plastics. We started out I was throwing top water and David was on the worm and he put our first keeper in the boat pretty quick. He then put another keeper in the boat and I finally got one on a popr. First three fish all keepers so thats a good start. After dark I start with the spinner bait and David puts a couple more keepers in the boat. I finally decided the worm was where it was at. I think we caught 8 keepers before catching our first non keeper. I ended up catching the 6.5 lbs large mouth on the old texas rigged worm. I think we caught about 25 fish and only three were non keepers but the only issue was they were all 15 and a half inch fish just couldn't get another big bite. We ended up with 11.21 I believe good enough for third.

We did have some issue with another boat coming in on us in one of our favorite spots with some docks. There were three guys in a boat and they came in and fished down to us their boat was within ten feet and they were casting to the left side of my boat so after some disgruntled comments they moved on back in the slough. They turned all their lights off so we stayed in our area fishing defensively. After about an hour they came back in on us and I heard the guy say I really want to fish that spot but I think my demeanor finally made him realize I wasn't leaving so they left. I think this is just a classic case of clueless idiots because they asked how's the fishing we told them it sucked but I guess they didn't believe us. I just think there are so many people that are just clueless to etiquette. I was glad I didn't lose my cool I just did not want to get into an argument and then be pissed the rest of the night.

Nice catch guys. I know you all had to be itching to chew those boys out this lake is absolutely full of disrespectful idiots. We had two in a boat below us watching us but they were hitting weed bong and hopefully were to messed up to remember where we were.
