i just got my hands on an old 18hp Evinrude outboard for my jon boat and wanted to know the best place to take it to get it looked at ( looks like it will need a lower unit rebuild) i live in Ooltewah and was thinking of taking it to sportsmans marine on bonny oaks any replies would be appreciated ( just remember CFF's no bashing policy if you want to tell me where NOT to take it say it in a PM please!

Thanks a lot!

Glen Gamble (Outboard Doc) is the best OMC mechanic around. He is located on Bonny Oaks/ HWY 58 accross from Jacks Bait Shop. He stays very busy but he's the best place to start. 622-5450. Tell him Churly sent ya.

don't take it to Marine Tech located between Cleveland and Charleston, unless you have tons of money and time for a repair job you will have to redo before yuo can put it on the water. I found out the hard way, also i had to find my own parts.
Regretfully
