The tournament is now official for this Friday (Good Friday) at Chickamauga. Entry fee will be $30 per boat with an optional $5 big fish pot per boat. Payout will be 100% payback and paid places will be based on 1 in 7 entries. We will have it at Chester Frost Park safe light until 2:00 pm EST. You can put in at different ramps as long as you’re at CFP in time to get signed up and take off at safe light. I can be reached at 706-280-0711 if you have questions. If you call me Tuesday evening after 6:00 pm I’ll not be able to return your call until Wednesday.
Spread the word and lets get some others out to participate!
Here's some simple basic rules I think we need in place.
SAFETY RULES:
1. Life jackets must be worn buckled, zipped or snapped anytime the combustion engine is in gear.
2. The safety-stop switch cord must be attached to your person or life jacket when the combustion engine is in gear.
3. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs in the boat at any time.
FISHING RULES:
1. Tournament limit is 3 Fish, 15 inches for green fish, 18 inches for brown fish.
Culling must be done immediately upon catching your 4th fish. At no time can you have more than the 3 fish limit in your live-well.
2. Dead/Short Fish: You will be penalized one-half (.50) pound or eight (8) ounces for a dead fish. (No more than one dead fish) Anyone attempting to weigh a short fish will have it removed and weighed separately and that weight will be deducted from the total of their other two fish.
3. There is no off-limits for this tournament. Unless deemed so by law or TN. Wildlife resources.
4. If you’re late for check-in you will be penalized 1 pound per minute up to 15 minutes, then disqualified.
5. There will have a courtesy board set up for your use if you desire? Once you submit the fish for weigh-in they belong to the tournament director.
6. No more than two competitors per boat.
