For the one or two other NHRA fans that might be on here, John Force Racing has picked up Chevrolet as a major sponsor after ford dumped him last year after around 15 yrs of sponsorship.
It's sad watching motorsports go down the tubes. I remember when someone pretty much had to die for a Nascar seat to become avaliable at Bristol and now they're having to advertise to try and fill the stands.

The Alan Johnson race team lost their sponsorship also. They were winners of the national championship, and have been with several drivers over the years. I have been a fan since high school many, many years ago. I guess I'm more of an Ihra fan now because of Brainerd. I think what happens is people get control who are business people instead of being racers. There's a lawsuit now with the pro mod trucks and the nhra because they dropped the trucks. I was also a big fan of nascar, but they've changed the rules until I don't even watch it anymore. All of the 1 mile jimmy Johnson tracks and the Lucky Dog. What kind of race is it when someone that has been lapped gets back on the lead lap without racing back by the leader and don't cross this line here, but its OK at this track. All of the cars are the same now: weight, motors ect. The only thing different now is a little bit on the nose. There's no more race on Sun. and sell on Mon. It's all about that TV contract.

The Tony Stewart incident on the dirt track was the last straw for me. I'm not spending one more penny going to or money on electricity to watch a NASCAR race on TV with NASCAR's poor response to not ban Stewart for life.

Yeah-I guess that Sheik Khalid decided that the infedels were no longer worthy of Muslim oil money.

Now Schumacher is buying up every crew chief he can get and it's going to come down to has the most money and the biggest team.
It's like watching the death of someone you love! If you happen to tune in, look at the empty seats!

I used to never miss a race ,but racing now has l lost all the true race drivers who truly enjoyed what they done .I have not watched a race in 5 years and get tickets give to me all the time by my suppliers and I usually can not find anyone to give them to.

It's just like all things that the government gets involved in. Too much intervention and senseless/stupid rules changes = screwed up situations = fewer fans.
