is tva going to keep chickamauga lake up at summer pool all winter .i heard this and wanted to know ????????

No... I assure that won't happen. Not really having anything to do with the drought. But TVA is committed to keeping Chattanooga dry. The overwhelming reason for the Chickamauga drawdown is spring time flood protection for Chattanooga. TVA won't mess with that.

Great article Richard! I've seen a few of the low lakes and talk to our dealers all the time. Its terrible this year! We need to appriciate the water levels here. I know many people have started traveling to Chatt Town to fish just because their own is entirely too low and dangerous. Several time this summer I've met people from out of town all saying the same thing.</p>

Good article Richard. I know I normally fish the woods and Tims ford and the caney in the summer but they all have been low this summer so I have opted to fish the chick and nick when afforded the opportunity to.
If we have decent rainfall this winter may be the winter pool will be close to normal in some of the areas.
