CHATTANOOGA TN,
Broke my Rod yesterday while pulling a 2-3 # LM out of the water. I was a BPS Bionic Blade that I realy liked. Only used it a couple of dozen times and it just snaped in half. Now that I need to replace it I dont know what else would be good. Not looking to spend a fortune but I would like to get a good rod probally somthing between 30-50 bucks. just looking for sugestions.

I'll sell ya a St.Croix Triumph for 50 dollars right now. 7 foot medium. Very good rod and very sensitive! Just let me know. Retails for 70.00.

Most rods between 30 - 50 bucks are comparable in quality. I like BPS Extreme rods because the power hump fits my hand good but they're a little more than what you want to spend. I've never had any trouble with them.

FishingVol's St Crouix sounds like a rod to check out if the action and length is what you want. Brand name. I've bought several reels from him and they were as advertised.

Like smokingbasser said, call BPS. They have took care of any complaints I've had down through the years and been friendly about it too. It's worth a call.

Hope you find one that fits ya !

Shimano Convergence (CVC-70MH) $50 @ Sportsman's...excellent rod for the money
