As soon as the rain slacked up this afternoon I went to the woods in hope that the deer would be moving. I only saw one but that is all it took!!! I have this buck on trail cam pictures and he was on my hit list. Most of the time my hit list does not work out but this time it paid off. 8 point...160lb. He came into one of my shooting lanes at 5:30this evening. A high shoulder shot with my 270 dropped him in his tracks.
