Got to meet Wrechin2 today

Took my boat to the rebuild guru for some test. Left the powerhead with him in 2 boxes and alot of baggies. He showed me alot and even let me help with the teardown. I got really good at holding the bolt baggies emoBigsmile . It was good to meet you today James.

Yeah i agree with the "Belive everything you read line" I am hoping racer will chime in. Hoping he might have some true 250 carbs.

I am sure that you will have someone try to project how much power it will make. If we find the 250 Carbs and with the porting it will make 250+ HP. We are just coping a factory produced engine.Like I said today, I would be a fool to estimate how much power cleaning up the aluminium all the ports and other mods will make. It will make a BIG difference but who knows exact numbers. Sometime the little stuff adds up to big numbers. I can GUARANTEE that it will make alot more power than what it was. The guy I talked to tonight said those blocks wer bad like that from 93-97 with all the slag left in the ports and poor blending. That may also answer question why your 98 was so much stronger. Iwill let you know what I find on the carbs.</p>

Yeah he definatly knows his stuff. and he aint affraid to show you anything. ( motor wise) ( I know how some of you think). You dont see many shops that will let you help with the rebuild like he dose.

I have nothing to hide and I keep conflick out of my life. If we have a problem, You will see it the same time I do and that it is YOUR part messed up and not one of mine that I have laying around. Like yours having 3 .020 over pistons in .030 over holes!!!!!!!
