I was wondering if anyone might mention what they did to me at the tournament Saturday. I'll tell you, you had better watch those clowns. They got me good and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. emoRedface After weighing in my bass and being in the lead I had two other limits added to mine in the bag so it was heavy and we were about 100 yards from the water.emoDohI'm not as young as I used to be so dragging that bag of bass and water a 100 yards was no easy task. After getting there with one arm now an inch longer then the other I got them all in the water and swimming off. I went back up to the wiegh in just to be met with condolences and sorrys that I had been bumped back to my usual place of first out of the money. emoBawl With less then 15 lbs I was kind of expecting it so it came as no surprise. I mean everyone there was talking to me about how I always come in just out of the money and how many times I have done that. I looked at the wiegh in sheet and sure nuff there was a team with 16 lbs and my big bass got bumped also by a sixer.emoBawl Well...i tought...was still a great day catching fish.emoRolleyes Pats on my back and the whole nine yards. Chris announces is that all the bass? Then he say well it is a winner take all so the winners are..............Jmax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!emoScratch Then everyone busts and gets a good laugh. Come to find out they made it all up and had me going.emoApplause I guess with all the ribbing I have done to others on this forum and the time I wieghed in the big bass of the Tx that me and chooch found in a gill net I had it coming.emoBigsmile
That really made the win all that much sweeter. To think I had lost and then get the money made me go from a high to a low and then back to a high. Made me know...you better watch um'.
