Alright GPS guys, my Lowrance LMS 332c says that the GPS Module is not Responding? I can't figure it out and the manual has no troubleshooting section, go figure. The only thing I've done was remove the chip for last week's tx and then put it back.

Sounds like a call to Lowrance might be in order.

The depthfinder works great and I don't really need the GPS for this weekend, just ticks me off more than anything.

Try unpluging eveything and then rehook and see if you get anything. If not then the pod module may be bad. If that doesnt work I'll be fishing Fri tx and you can hook to mine and see what happens. I have the 332 also. I'll be in the 521 Ranger.

The number one problem causing a "GPS Module Not Responding" is power to the module. Make sure the antenna (GPS Module) has power. Check connections, fuse etc. The other problem I have seen is a bad module. I can connect my antenna to yours to verify if it is defective. If you have two units you may want to consider networking them to run off of one antenna.

Some of the Lowrance GPS units have additional wires to connect to a radio for transmitting location. Check the extra wires very closely to insure that none of the wires are not in contact with each other where they are bare.

had the same problem with mine back in the winter and after trying everything the tech suggested from Lowrance...I found my connection at the puck was saturated...
I have it mounted beside the light plug in at the back of the boat and while trying to back the boat off I washed it down good with big motor....it`s a good connector and still don`t know how it got so wet......blew it our with compressed air and it still took it a little while to start working again. You might try a hair dryer too.... the holes are tiny !
another thing you might check is an update on the software for the puck and the unit....available online......best tech support I`ve ever had

Man, I hate having to do work for something.................I'm more of a plug and play guy.

Thanks for all the input.:)
