After reading Gators post I have a ??????

Does any one make a hand held unit that you can get a download to show the contours on the bottom on the lake. I guess I'm thinking about a hand held unit that would work something like a built-in in model. One with lake bottom contours and able to mark way points of the bottom.

If there is such a unit our there, who makes it, the only one's I've seen don't have the contours and are made more for hunting,

I'm pretty sure that there is. Seems like I saw one on the BPS site...I'll look it up tomorrow if you don't find it first or someone else chimes in.

I used to use my Meridian Gold with the Lake maps addon. I wish I could get the magellan software instead of Navionics! I also like it better for interfacing on the computer. My only complaint is the screen is so small that it was hard to "zero" in on previous waypoints.
