Grabbled my frst flathead today!

I went below the dam this afternoon on my lunch break to see if the bait was still there, it wasnt, but since I had my crappie rod in hand I spent the time casting only catching one stripe. I was about to leave, when I noticed a flathead catfish swimming in the rocks. I got down, and grabbed him up! After a short battle, I was victorious and I had my first hand-caught flathead! A PB for me as well!</p>

Many, many moons ago I watched an old Indian in Alaska catch Artic char by hand. I tried it and only got a frozen hand.
