I was there and we got one that was 5 lbs even on the fourth cast of the morning and we thought it was on.... but NOOOOO. we only caught 2 more small ones later for the whole day, not another bite. That 34+ lbs was impressive. His big fish was 10+. He got the weight in bag and said he thought it was over 10 but wasn't sure because he never seen one that big. LOL

That 34 was very impressive, some really beautiful fish! Me and dad fished half the lake today and only managed one keeper, those gentleman did work. Rumored that the had all 34 pounds by 10! They had called it in to the goose pond store!!!

Ok guys, I have the other half of that 34 lbs and I need to clear some things up. First off, it almost did not even happen. Someone showed up at the ramp with this hideous ugly grey sweatshirt that said auBARN on it. I almost called the whole deal off and forfeited the entry fee. The only way we could continue was him promise to say ROLL TIDE after every fish! Even with that ugly shirt, he did a great job all day and kept me laughing as usual. We thought about going back and just ordering a pizza and takin a nap at the dock like Tim Horton, but we figured we would keep fishing til at least noon. We were both pretty dang tore up before and after the tourney. We had caught 4 - 9s and 2 - 28 plus stringers out of there in the last 8 days. Yall are more than welcome to keep on the Milo tea drinking, coal smelling, backward football fan redneck all yall want.

At the end of the day I had to order another auburn swea
tshirt for my boy. Peck, I think u know that sweatshirt well. And as for coal smelling, I work on the scrubber. Easiest 34 lbs I ever been a part of. All I had to do was pound milos tea, tell jokes, and dip fish. And as for saying RT, I would have ripped my on tongue out if those words ever came from mouth. I couldn't even make myself type it. Lol
