I'm coming down in October to do some frog fishing. Can someone clue me in on what part of the lake has the best grass? I have rarely fished below grasshopper but if the best grass is near Harrison Bay then I will find a hotel down that way and put is at HBSP. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually some of the best channel edge grass is between Sale Creek and Hwy 60. Lots of grass either way it's just a little bit behind compared to years past.

I have caught some good grass fish near hwy 60 bridge and also below Dayton I believe in moon sleu I just didn't know if it was better on down below Grasshopper

The best grass is definitely above sale creek. Ran from the Dam to Hiwasee yesterday and the grass is way ahead up north.

if I put in at Dayton would I be around some good grass without making long runs?

Sorry no grass here. They say Lake Shasta in north Calf. has the best grass after that try Great Bear Lake in Canada. No frog fish In Chickamauga.

There seems to be more millfoil up river than down river to me. I had much rather fish millfoil than hydrilla.I hope we have a good mat and frog bite this year.

thanks to my brother in law he will be letting me stay in his house while he is out of town. The two closest ramps to his house is cotton port and on down the road grasshopper. If I have those two ramps to chose from which would be best for being around lots of grass? Thanks for the info guys I really appreciate it.
