Is the grass on the top in Nickajack yet ?????

No, I was there Sunday and pulled some in on my lures but none on the surface yet

I was there yesterday and found places where the grass was very heavy but 99.999% was not on the top yet. Lots of places where it was a foot or two under where I fished. Makes for a great morning bite just over the grass. emoDance Jmax

Thanks for the grass report. What is everyones favorite type of grass to fish?? Mine is young small clumps that are just coming up. (Maybe 3 feet off the bottom)

I like it when its just coming in 3-5ft off the bottom with a rattle trap or chatterbait ticking the tops or when its breaking the surface and throwing a spook around the edges and points of the grass
