A couple weeks ago I posted the Grassmasters tourney schedule for Chris. Disregard this schedule. Chris contacted several of us to get our thoughts on a format change for his tournaments. Several of Chris's tourneys conflicted with the Tennessee Valley and the CBA. It was agreed upon that Chris's trail for 2011 would be more of a club format with a membership fee and fewer tournaments. Here is the new schedule and the new rules/regulations for 2011:
GRASSMASTERS NICKAJACK TOURNAMENT SERIES 2011

1. All members must comply with all the state fishing regulations and Coast Guard safety regulations. All boats must have running lights if conditions warrant at blast-off. Life jackets must be worn when boat is “on plane”. State and Coast Guard rules and regulations over rule and discrepancy regarding safety.
2. Five (5) fish limit per boat: Smallmouth must be 18”, largemouth and spots must be 15”.
3. Only artificial lures, including pork trailers, may be used. NO LIVE BAIT.
4. Only one (1) rod per person may be used at a time.
5. One dead fish allowed per boat per tournament. Two dead fish brought to the scales will result in disqualification.
6. Short fish brought to the scales will result in disqualification.
7. All fish will be measured for length with the mouth closed.
8. In the event of a tie, the two places that tied will split the money.
9. All fishermen please wait for the scales to be set up before putting fish in weigh-in bags. This will help keep the fish alive. All fish must be brought to the scales in a bag with water.
10. Any team member caught out of the boat with tackle or rods during the tournament hours will be disqualified.
11. All members are to obey a courtesy rule of being fifty (50) yards from another member’s boat.
12. Fishermen may leave the boat for gas, food, and bathroom. In bad weather conditions go to a safe area. Fishermen will not be disqualified in these situations. DO NOT HAVE FISHING GEAR OUT OF THE BOAT.
13. In the event of a breakdown, you may return with another fisherman in the club that is fishing the tournament.
