grip n check crappie checker

had a neighbor of mine show me this neat crappie checker that more fully encloses the crappie but has slots in it to make it much easier to get the crappie in it than the frabil crappie checker.

after using for a few weeks now i can highly recommend this thing for all of the crappie fisherman here.

to put it simply it just plain works A LOT better and easier than the frabil design. emoThumbsup emoThumbsup

Is it wider in the nose than the Frabil? Often (actually just occasionally) I get one that nose won't touch so it measures longer than it actually is.

yes it is and its thicker too . i had no problem sliding in a thick 13+ that nightrider caught on our trip Wednesday ( not quite a tarp though emoBang )

I bought one of them last year and love it. Way better than the Frabil checker even if it is "modified"
