Gunsmith

I am looking for a good gunsmith to look over some older shotguns and make sure they are in good firing condition. Any recommendations?

Call Hal Shaw at the Ammo Dump on Hwy 58. He does all my gun work.

Our very own Jason's father owns Heritage Custom Arms in Chickamauga. You won't find a friendlier more honest gunsmith anywhere. He is a first class gunsmith too.

Craig Sheaffer at Montlake Sporting Clays. he works on and build custom shotguns. Have never used him for any of my guns (mine aren't expensive enough to waste a gunsmith's time) but they have a great facility and are super nice and helpful.

Used both of these guys and both do great work. Norman is more into custom building rifles, but can handle anything I would guess. Robert is very good with triggers and has worked on a couple of my shotguns. Just depends which way is closer IMHO.
