got to go to guntersville for a few hours this afternoon. we put in at honeycomb, and fished some grasslines near the main channel bends, and founds some humps with grass to fish. we threw 10" twirltail worms and swam them over the grass, no luck. tried spinnerbaits, no luck. the wind was kicking this afternoon, and in the small boat we were in it was tough. after not catching any fish this way, we started using topwater in the evening on calmer water. we ended up going back in a creek channel near grass using chug bugs and my fishing partner got 3 in the boat, with the biggest being around 3lbs. i caught a very small crappie that absolutely exploded on my chug, i've never had one do that before. i missed a couple of blowups on a spook also. then it got dark and we tried a couple more humps with no success. gonna try wheeler or wilson tuesday.

Thanks for the report, what were the depths at the top of the humps? Tater and I are going Wednesday afternoon.

I fished near Comer bridge Saturday afternoon and caught 4 decent keepers on a dinger and went back to Mud Creek yesterday evening and zeroed! I think they have sprayed around that ramp and the water looked weird.

I heard that they were spraying some areas on Mink Creek last week as well.
