Great day on the lake last weekend. Best 5 were around 20lbs. Found fish just off main river channel flipping broken grass in 10-12 ft of water. Go to bait was 3/8 Titan jig by Choo Choo Lures.
Not sure I want to give up the color info.

I meant the 1/2 oz Titan series jig by Choo Choo Lures. The 3/8 was a different series. My fish came on the Titan. Still not giving up the color though.......

Super catch. Way to go. emoThumbsup How many hours did you fish and what time did the fish seem most active? Was there one particular period when you got more bites than other times?emoGeezer

Got to the lake around 7:30am. 1st fish was in about an hour. Left the lake around 2:00pm. No timeframe really stands out. Didn't get an overwhelming amount of , but fish came pretty consistent throughout the day. Probably had 8 to 10 with several being good quality.

Welcome to the board SeqBass... what area of the lake where you working? Did you find much green fresh grass? I'll be exploring the Mud Creek area real soon in preps for CFF Guntersville in March.

I was in mid-section of the lake. Goosepond to South Sauty. Did find some green grass in 10-12 feet.

Grass TT, grass. That was funnyemoLaugh emoLaugh He was flippin a jig around the mats of grass that have thinned way out from last year, sounds like around the edges.
