Beetlespin's partner could not make the T so i DHed for him. Lance pretty well handed my butt to me on the jig. He caught 4 nice keepers before i boated one. I think we caught about 20 fish total with only 5 keepers. We weighed in 14.57 and finished 6th place i think . 23+ won the tx and it took 15 to get in the money.

all of our keepers cam on a jig but we caught some on a trap and a jerkbait.

Sounds like a fun day netting fish. Maybe next time the tables will be reversed.

   Was it windy? and what size jig was he throwing?

we were throwing 1/2 oz. wind was not too bad. I have fished in much worse!

Good day guys. Where did yall put in at? Not asking for details but what general areas did you fish?

What size traps were you throwing?

we fished mainly in mud creek on an old road bed. the tournament came out of goosepond. We also fished coon and south sauty. 1/2 traps also.

We did not throw the trap nearly enough because just about everyone came in saying they caught a lot of fish on the trap.

Thanks for that info. Joe, I recon I know about where you fished. Yes, I have been hearing that the fish are taking the Trap real well. I caught one on a bleeding shad in the first 10 minutes of getting on the water, but after that I couldnt find another bite on the flats. I hope you guys fish the CFF T with us its coming out of Mud Creek on March 3. Are you changing your opinion of Gville any?

not a bad day on the water guys. keep throwing the jigs.. i've been boating really good fish on the jigs, but not in the creeks. been working edges on main river channel.
