Took a day off from work and headed down to Guntersville. Put in at waterfront and started fishing some scattered grass off the main channel.. Wind was terrible.. Guntersville is like Kentucky lake when it gets one of those winds coming down the river it gets nasty...about 9 caught a 3lber on a norman crankbait in 5' scattered grass... about a hour later caught another one that would just fall short as a keeper.. that was it for the day.. fished some other areas trying to get out of the wind...Not many mats left down there especially on the main channel.. Just about had the lake to myself though.. Got tired of the wind and ate a burger at waterfront and then i trailered up and put in at mink creek.. got out of the wind sort of but didnt do any good... cold front+high sun+blue sky= tough.
