Guntersville 12/26

I got the bug and had to go yesterday even though it was 40 and windy. I headed down to Guntersville which is my worst lake by far. I didnt get down there until about 11:30 but by 3:00 i had caught four nice keepers from 2.5 - 6 lbs for a total of about 15 lbs. I started out fishing creek channel turns, etc with a grub but no luck. I then tried a crankbait and then a jig on the same structure with no takers. After about two hours of that I moved back in the creek to another creek channel irregularity surrounded by shallow water and caught all of the keepers on black and blue jigs. I then proceeded to another similar spot with no luck. Upon leaving the similar spot a stump jumped out and re-pitched my prop for me. Fortunately I was only about a half mile from the ramp and the wind was at my back. I will probably go again tomorrow if my prop is back from the shop. If anyone wants to go shoot me a pm.

Well ... hell has officially frozen over if Beetlespin went to the G. My, oh my.

At least you had a good day down there ... save for the "re-tooled" prop. Sorry to hear about that one, but at least you had some good feesh to show for it.

Man, you really must have had the bug, (or in-laws in townemoTongue ). Way to go get em. Were they suspended on the edge of the channel or were thet right out in the middle?

I caught them all on the bottom. Some were on the edge and some in the middle.

Was this the original NSauty Channel? They will really stack up in there.

I have never caught a fish in North Sauty. Or south sauty for that matter. I hope to change that tomorrow though.
