Not a good report..... Put in at the Stevenson ramp to try the up river bite. Lost 2 at the ramp on a shaky head. ran to the mouth of Crow and played around a little while to let the fog settle. Once i could see i ran to Island Creek and caught 1 that was around 15"ish in a trap. Water temp was 48 or so. Left Island and went to the HWY 72 bridge in Crow Creek. Fished around in the bay there alittle and a few places heading back out. Took out and drove to Mud Creek. There was only about 6 or 8 boats in the hot spot but i didnt get a nible so i went down around the other end and caught 1 on a trap in about 5-10 feet over old grass. I will proablly go back tomorrow to get somemore fishing in before i have to start work on Thursday

Where is the hot spot in mud creek?Is that the name of a hole that everyone knows about or is that a secret spot of yours?

Thats Flip's, BBass's, 2Jigs's and Rivermont Jeff's hot spot. Although they share it with about 75 other locals. emoLaugh

Skeeter how did the Grey Bomber do in the BFL last Sat.?

Yeah I thought I had found something the Monday before the 1st BFL that only a couple others had stumbled upon. When BBass and I went back on Sat. we found out that lots of others had found those fish too. That creek holds fish year round though. I'm surprised at the number of fish caught in there so far though.

Flip, He chose to not fight the crowd. He stayed more mid lake. Only caught 1 keeper and lost about 3 or 4.

When you just cant seem to get bit, go to where about 20 boats are gathered up and start fishing your way towards them. They arent there suntanning. emoIdea

yeah i know what you mean. I am going back tomorrow. I hope to be the first one there and plan on staying allday. It's really bothering me that everyone is catching fish there but me. Tomorrow i will figure out their secret
