Well went down to the big G a day after the "Pro's" to see if they had left us anything.... emoLaugh Anyways me and Chris went down early and let me tell you it was COLD emoEek On the water around 6:00 local time and on the second cast Chris boated a nice 3+ and we got real excited... Then everything started to freeze up. my reel got so much ice on it I couldn't cast it.. But we kept going and praying for the sun. Once the sun got up and we cold feel again I got a nice 4+ and I felt like it was worth getting out there again. emoBigsmile Both of these first ones came on spinner baits.. Anyways we kept working along and found a nice spot were the sun was hitting and the wind was not to bad so we took up camp and the fish just started smacking everything. We left that spot boating around 9 fish and missing a couple others. Chris had a good 4+ jump and toss his rattle trap back at him and had another 2 right at the boat spit it out again. I had to get home by 1:00 so we had to leave right as the fishing was getting right. emoBang It was a good day. had 11 in the boat and 10 of those were all nice keepers. All fish came on spinners and traps. Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday but we had fun catching everything you all left us emoAngel

well P-dog you might want to re-think that. yes the fishing was good but let me tell you it was so COLD. I have fished on Dale Hollow in snow and it about 20 degrees but for some reason it felt colder this am.. It had to be the wind. I have not fished were the eye lets and reel all filled with ice making it hard to cast. one reel got a nest in it so bad I had to put it away and use the other rig the rest of the day. I do have to admit that once the fish started hitting I got much warmer...

Catchin' tends to warm me up too. The warm weather is coming back the next few days. Hopefully you'll get out there a bunch more soon.
