Guntersville 4-7-06

My 11 yr old and his friend and myself fished Guntersville today. We got started early and fished for about 5 hours.Water clarity was about 3 feet,windy, and temp was up to 66 degrees. We stayed shallow for most of the time and caught 4 keepers with the largest 4lb 13oz. We tried various baits with 1 coming on a floating worm and the rest on a T rigged lizard.

What area of the lake Tarheel, upper, mid, lower? General area I mean.

We fished upper to mid-lake and looked for places out of the wind. It seems to start blowing harder around 11:00 the last few times we have been.

Hey Jmax, that was the first thing I tried and tried and tried,then I switched to a white one. Couldn't understand it (guess it works better in colder water, go figure). The lizard worked great though.

Iam going to Guntersville on 4/10&11/06 for first time.Please someone give me something to go by.Iam staying at the holiday Inn.I dont even have a map yet.Wally world didnt have one here in Cleveland.Help! Leaving in morning
