Hey all I had some time to kill between calls today .. fished crow creek around the 72 bridge and down near fackler.. I wast casting a soft plastic no name jerk bait had a huge huge huge bass boil up on the bait easy 8 lbs.. missed him/her the first time .. gave it a few minutes and threw in the same spot .. this time it hit again coming up out of the water and crashing down on the bait .. I hooked it up .. and it jumped clean out of the water tail danced across the water then ran straight at me I was reeling as fast as I could to get the slack out .. before I could the fish ran under a log and hung up around the log .. the fish was still on though .. I was just about to wade out and get the fish when a freakin jet ski came rippin thru and caught my line around his chest.. he darn near decapited himself .. and of course the line broke and off swam the biggest bass Ive ever hooked~! emoEnforce They guy acttually had the nerve to come back around and yell at me cause I was fishing .. that lasted about 3 secs.. untill I started swinging my flipping stick at him .. State trooper was standing on the boat ramp and saw the whole thing .. he was about to take the guy to jail. trooper said he prob would have shot him lol .. I told him dont tempt me. I left and went down to fackler .. and tried cople spots there did manage to hook and land one bass there about 3 lbs, and a snake that decided my lure looked tasty .. I did cut the line on the snake ! Then a crack of thunder .. and it started to pour rain .. that marked the time to leave.. off to my last call of the day in Henager

Dang NRG you had a good day and a bad day all in one! Wish you would have got the big one in. Have to give you credit for not setting the hook twice when you got the jetski bite! emoLaugh maybe the state trooper wouldn't have been too mean to you. emoHoppingmad I would have probably been throwin rocks at that sucker before he got out of range.emoEnforce Or worse.. Thanks for the report and hope you a better day tommorow.emoThumbsup

Speaking of PWCs...

In most states you can file a private nuisance suit against PWC operators. This route is typically only available to property owners who are repeatedly harrassed and/or annoyed by PWC operators. There are, however, some states that have set a precedent by allowing houseboat owners, fishermen, divers & others to file nuisance suits against PWC operators. There have been public nuisance suits filed against PWC owners to address damage to habitat, erosion & pollution issues. In most private nuisance suits an injunction is issued against the PWC operator to remedy the complaint, but in many of the public nuisance suits PWCs have been banned entirely from lakes. In other cases severe restrictions on the use of PWCs have been implemented.

A private nuisance suit is filed to address the personal loss of the use or enjoyment of property without an actual physical invasion of that property. This can include not only personal property, but property set aside for use by the public.

A public nuisance suit is filed to address an issue that has the ability to affect the health, safety, welfare, enjoyment, or comfort of the public in general.

And now you know...
