Sorry to have been slow but I see some are planning to go to G this weekend and maybe can learn a bit from my last weekend.
Came to Chattanooga Sunday and left the wife at my sisters and went on to the G.
Fished grass next to the channel across from N Saudy and got 3 Sunday(waited out a bad storm at Goose Pond). They went from 3-6 lbs. Only got strikes on the Baby Bush Hog in Redbug fished CR.
Fished the same area Monday and they would not touch the Baby Bush Hog. Got them on Watermellon/red Senko TR with a 1/8 oz sinker(fished really slow). After the water started moving, Switched to CR and caught them on a Watermelon/candy Paca Craw. Largest Sunday would go 5. Had 3 others in the 3 lb class. Lots of missed strikes on the Paca Craw and I think it was the size of the bait. Didn't have any Baby Paca Craws in this color. (I tried other colors and this seemed to be the one they wanted. Used a 3/4 oz sinker on my CR.
