Had a club tourny this morning at Roseberry. Started off in some scatttered grass near the ramp about 3-5 ft deep throwing a Ribbet Frog. 1/2 hour after starting had already boated 2 keepers 1 that was 4.56 and 1 that had a 3lb mouth and a 1 1/2lb body. Fished Roseberry for about 2 hours then ran across from Grasshopper and picked up another 2lb keeper on a Buzz Bait. Thought it would be a good day but it then turned slow. Sun came out and the bite was gone. Fishen a few more areas between Roseberry and Grasshopper with no luck. Fished plastic frogs, scumfrogs,10"worms, brushhogs, crankbaits, spinners and Buzz Baits. We missed about 3 fish allday. Got back to the weigh-in about 20mins early and thought we had bigfish from talking to everyone else, but you know theres always someone who has to out do you. Winning weight was 18lb. and BF was 5.18. I will post the night tournaments weight as soon as i hear what it was
For those who might wonder. In our club you can choose either to fish 8hr. day or 8hr. night. Got a feeling somebody will come in with a huge sack tonight.
