Obviously the folks that wrote this were trout biased and there is nothing wrong with that I suppose. I travel to around 20 states on the average and of course check out the fishing opportunities in each one. Chattanooga is one of the best all around places for a large variety of freshwater fishing in the eastern half of the United States. I would rate Islamorada, Florida as one of the top saltwater towns. It is good to see that a "local" place at least made this list.
Oh yeah! Make sure to eat at "Craw Mama's" while you're there. Dirt floors inside and out, crab legs, few pounds of crawdads, couple taters and ears of corn, and a bucket of "High-Life" - doesn't get any better than that...
