A friend an I played hookey from work today to do a little early season striper scouting....being as there was a west wind forecasted, we decided to hit G-ville dam instead of fishing the nuclear plant(as we had planned).
Water temps were 46 so, IMO, it's still a wee bit early for a full on striper bite. Tva was generating from 6 a.m- 11 a.m....we started fishing about 7ish.
We ended up with 2 hybrids, 2 decent salts, 1 juvey salt and a white bass(with eggs developing)...not a stellar day, but it beats the heck out of work.

my 9 lb. hybrid:
Unafisher part 2...a 12.5 salt:
It shouldn't be long before the G-ville tailrace is kicking.
