Fished a small club tournament June 1st. We went down Wed. for practice, launched at GoosePond. We fished till about 2:30 throwing several different types of topwater and ending up with 3 keepers on a buzzbait in the grass. Also tried jigs and big worms but didnt catch many on them.Topwater was the deal for us.Fished tournament thursday and everyone had a good day.1st place was 18.65,2nd was 15.20,3rd was 13.70,4th was 11.80.Topwater was still the deal Thursday for us.Caught all on a white buzzer and culled one fish later in the day on a jig. The first two places all fish caught on buzzer in grass.First time fishing Guntersville this time of year,and had a blast. Love the topwater action. We were just throwing the buzzer along the grass edge on main lake grass.Fisherpal may have some pics that he can post for us.
