Anyone else gonna be stupid enough to fish G tomorrow in the rain and high winds? Because of my work schedule, Sunday is the only time I can prefish. We're putting in at Stevenson and will be concentrating on the mouths of creeks.

josh.schreiber - 2/17/2008 7:30 AM not guntersville (my boat is a 12 foot lowe w/ just a trolling motor), but i'll be on the water. hopefully we wont get blown away

Not a good day for that boat. Be careful!!!!</p>

I grew up with that type of boat that we hauled around in a '64 Rambler Stationwagon. A diehard motor and an old pal trolling motor. I'll bet you we caught just as many, if not more fish than the guys in the big rigs cause we could get it into any fishing hole, farm pond or stream there was. That's great to hear of someone who still does it that way. And, yeah, in 20mph winds, there was never a thought of going. Until the wind stops.

true about the wind. lol i wish i could say the same about the numbers of fish... but we do okay.
i bought it when i was in the 10th grade. had my first boat before i had my first car. :)
the weather was kinda rough when we went out, but we had our rain gear. we were en route to our first spot when lightning struck pretty close. we pulled out and fished from the bank till it cleared up. twenty minutes later the weather was beautiful, just a bit windy.
action was really slow but steady. we stayed out about 4 hours and ended up with three crappie, one bass, and one bluegill.
