Me and a coworker got down to BB Comer early so we could get in on some topwater action... The wind was blowing hard out of the east making boat control very difficult... was gonna try some senkos in the grass doing it like churly had done but it just wasnt gonna happen... we fished pop Rs, buzzbaits and chatterbaits with no success.. finally my partner put on one of those bright red worms with the funny sounding name that starts with a M.. shoot I cant pronouce it much less spell it.. any way he hooks up on a good 4 lber . I try one of the trick worms in that color and i come up with one about 2... fished them in the scattered grass with a 1/16 sinker... later on he catches one on a toad and misses a few more on the mats. didnt fish long this morning but sure enjoyed it....love to fish that grass on Guntersville..
