Fished mostly in Crow Creek today, caught 9 Lg.Mouth, only one keeper and a couple boards. Jigs and Traps with the sole keeper coming on the Trap. The water temp. up creek was 43-45, the river was 46-48. I couldnt get bit at Widows creek, the water temp. there was 60 at the discharge areas, tough day for me. I should have stayed with my original plan at Chick., at least I could have eaten well. The fish I caught were very healthy, not sure if it was eggs or just eating good.

The bite was tough on the Chick as well. I heard of more than one skunk floating around today. I just wish they could get the wind forcast right for a change.emoParty emoParty emoParty. Good report flip.

Sounds like I should have stayed in the river, I really didnt give it a good go. The wind was way up when I went out there and I didnt get bit in the places I usually do so I went back in the creek. Not sure where Fisheadspin and Beetlespin fished but they were doing the right thing, maybe they will tell us a little more.

You are making me want to get out there Flip, but it doesn't look like I can start finding some fish until the weekend of the 17th of Feb. What kind of structure were you focusing on in Widows?

I was just fishing around the warm water discharges ( 60 degrees ) and the barge tie offs in that area. There were 4 boats there when I pulled up, nobody caught anything while I was there.

If your leaving it in the frig. , then I aint a comingemoTongue. You must have bought a new camper, will you be at the fish camp in South Sauty again? Glad you got to spend a good deal of time at home, I'm sure it was nice after all the traveling you do during the year. Look at the schedule and try to plan on being at the upcoming CFF tournaments, look forward to seeing you there. Take care.
